the First, accidental contact with the work, moreover, Digit-All-Love was accompanied by a huge surprise when I discovered that this formation is a piece of cake Polish (specifically, Wroclaw), trip-hop scene, a scene - at least in my opinion - do not spoil us a world-class raisins (to tell the truth, I did not even realize its existence ...) If it was not fast and the tendency risercz DAL to the composition in the vernacular (the debut album just "Mam" from touching folk! twist), are probably blissfully trwałbym ignorance, being convinced of even this band Bristol pedigree. Apart from the obvious connotations such as Portishead ("Run Away") and Massive Attack ("I learn to be a man"), you hear a reminiscence of Björk ("Skinflower") and Hooverphonic ("Candy Castle"), Moloko ( "Do not expect too much") and even Under Byen ("If U Could"). Music time it revolves around raw, broken and psychedelic beats, other times while losing "weight" and jumps around in dreamy chill-out-in. Natalia's voice sometimes Grosiak economical and charming, in some songs show the full capabilities and claw. It is worth noting that almost all the works on the debut album accompanied by a string section (violin, viola and cello). In my opinion, flirting with the "strings" (or other instruments ointment "classical") music in the wider entertainment danger of falling into pathos, kitsch, and in the best case - an unnecessary exaggeration. In "Digit-All-Love," so luckily did not happen, because everything very nicely complements the sound of individual tracks. Listening to this CD I was proud that this was the icing on the Oder. Certainly there would be no shame on the top of the cake, in any event, I firmly keeping my fingers crossed that the Wroclaw There was zawędrowali. Chapeau bas!
